Coomera Houseboat Holidays

Coomera Houseboat Holidays are the areas longest running houseboat holiday accommodation company, situated on the Gold Coast City Marina. Coomera Houseboat Holidays offer the biggest selection of well-equipped houseboats on the Broadwater.

Coomera Houseboat Holidays have a modern fleet of 25 beautiful houseboats, and that number is still growing. Stepping aboard a Coomera Houseboat Holidays houseboat is like walking into a modern fully self-contained holiday apartment. Just about everything imaginable is on board for your convenience. All vessels are easy to handle, with no licence required.

Coomera Houseboat Holidays has a vessel to suit every need from 2 to 12 berth, from a weekend getaway vessel to a luxury, floating penthouse. Whether you?re a landlubber who?s never been boating before, or a seasoned frequent floatie, the best way to enjoy the Broadwater and Lower Moreton Bay area is on a Coomera Houseboat Holiday.

Our cruising ground encompasses nearly 50 kilometres of protected waters from the bottom of Macleay Island in the North to Southport in the South. You are at liberty to visit anyone of the numerous sheltered anchorages and beachside resorts but you must remember not to tie up to private moorings or public marinas. Houseboats are not suited to deep-sea open water fishing so you must stay within the Broadwater for your own safety!

Activities:
TIPPLERS ISLAND RESORT
An ideal first night anchorage. Affords excellent protection from prevailing South Easterly winds plus provides easy access to the beach and resort where you can wine and dine ashore. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the friendly dolphins and wallabies.
DUX ANCHORAGE
Explore the scenic sand flats and pump for yabbies. Great beaches to take the kids for a swim.
NORTHERN BEDROOMS
Otherwise known as Millionaires Row. Discover the tranquillity of the Broadwater and take a stroll over the sand dunes to the surf side of South Stradbroke Island.
JACOBS WELL
Situated on the main landside of the Broadwater this delightful anchorage gives you a chance to hang the fishing lines over. If the bites are a bit slow have lunch ashore at the renowned Tavern.
TIGER MULLET CHANNEL & WHALLEYS GUTTER
Good protected anchorages to get out of the wind. Try putting your pots in here for a feed of crabs.
SLIPPING SANDS
You'll feel like a kid again when you take a ride down the striking sand dunes off southwest North Stradbroke Island. For the not so adventurous this is a great spot to soak up the scenery and do some bird watching.
CANAIPA POINT
One of the best kept secrets of the Broadwater. Pretty secluded beaches make the anchorage off Russel Island well worth the trip north.
WAVEBREAK ISLAND / MARINE STADIUM
Prefer the skyline of Surfers Paradise? Then head south to Wavebreak Island. From here you can indulge in shopping at the internationally renowned Marina Mirage, spend the day at Seaworld or just while away the time watching the world cruise by. Wavebreak Island offers some more interesting sites for snorkeling.
ACTIVITIES
There are many exciting extra activities you may wish to try whilst on holiday. These could include hiring a jet ski, taking a sea plane flight over the Broadwater, off shore fishing or even Hot Air Ballooning over the magnificent Gold Coast Hinterland. For general information and some great rates just ask us prior to your trip.
BOAT HIRE
Need something with a little more grunt than our dinghies to explore the fishing grounds? Consider hiring a your own self drive tinnie. Ask us for details.
