Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to the crisp, clean mountain air, the country hospitality and the unique scenery of the Granite Belt, renowned for its fruit, wines and rocky National Parks.
These charming federation era cottages of brick and iron construction are beautifully decorated with early 1900's style furnishings. A cosy lounge room is centered around the combustion log fire ... just perfect for a romantic getaway. Queen size beds with continental quilts, electric blankets and quality linen will ensure your comfort all year round. The cottages are all fully insulated, keeping summer heat out and winter warmth in.
Each cottage has one bathroom, and all the one bedroom and studio cottages have dual spa baths. A delicious country-style breakfast basket is included in the tariff, and each cottage has cooking facilities for you to prepare your breakfast at your leisure.
If you don't wish to prepare meals, it's only three kilometres to the restaurants of Stanthorpe. Just a short taxi ride. Shops, art gallery, library, craft markets and golf course are also within five minutes drive.
The one bedroom cottages are ideal for a couple, or up to four persons using the sofa-bed in the living area. Studio style cottages are limited to two persons. Six persons is the maximum in a two bedroom cottage, and this type of cottage has queen size beds in both bedrooms which are separated by the bathroom. A sofa-bed in the living area caters for an extra two persons.

Getting There: Two and a half hours from Brisbane along Cuningham Highway and New England Highway. Turn into Mayfair Lane from Highway exactly at the Caltex Service Station (on western side of highway and 3 km north of Stanthorpe). Drive 150 meters along Mayfair lane and turn left when you see our sign.
